The use of SDE for VLAN is exactly what I presented either Nov of 94 or Jan 
of 95.  I agree that the use of SDE will provide traffic separation.  In 
addition, it will also provide confidentiality and integrity services and 
other services as described in SDE.  This idea was also brought up in the 
ATM forum ATM LAN Emulation group.  IT is nice to see that other groups 
start to see the important of SDE protocol.
