IEEE 802.11 Mandatory Technical Letter Ballot 239 for P802.11ay Draft 3.0 Starts Today IEEE 802.11(TM) Letter Ballot 239 To: IEEE 802.11 Voters, With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Technical Letter Ballot 239 (LB239), which is a Letter Ballot on the question "Should P802.11ay D3.0 be forwarded to Sponsor Ballot?". This Letter Ballot opens Monday February 4, 2019 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 24 days later on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions that can be found on the IEEE 802.11 web site at http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/LB239ay/LB239_instructions.html. Important: o This is a 24-day Recirculation Technical letter ballot and the ballot group (i.e., those that may vote) for this ballot are those in the ballot pool for LB234, the ballot of P802.11ay D2.0 (passed). o If you are in the ballot pool and do not vote, your prior vote will carry forward. If you are in the ballot pool and have not yet voted, you must vote before the end of the ballot series, or risk impact on voting rights. o If you cast a "Do not approve" vote on this ballot, it must be accompanied by comments for your vote to be valid. o Note that the only valid reason to abstain is "lack of expertise", regardless of any additional options offered by the voting tool. If you abstain for any other reason, your vote will not be valid and will not count towards maintaining your voting status. o You must follow these instructions to vote. Do not send an email to vote.
