With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning Letter Ballot 86 (LB86), which is a vote to submit the contents of draf t P802 11k-D5 0.pdf to Sponsor Ballot. This is a New Process we will be using to vote on letter ballots. It is a web based process similar to the process used for sponsor ballots. Please do not send an email to vote. This Ballot opens September 1, 2006 at 23:50 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 15 days later on September 16, 2006 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All necessary documents are available in the instructions at http://ieee802.org/11/Letter Ballot Instructions.htm and on the main page of the IEEE 802.11 web site at http://ieee802.org/11/index.html. Note: This is a recirculation letter ballot and the voters pool for this ballot is the same as for the original ballot that passed the 75% threshold for 802.11k, i.e., letter ballot 78. If you have voted on LB78 or LB 83, you are not required to vote on this ballot. Your most recent ballot will be carried forward.
