To 802.11 Voting Members of LB34 ballot pool,

With this email, 802.11 is officially beginning Recirculation Letter Ballot #46, which is 
a vote to submit the contents of document IEEE P802-15-2/D06 
[01000D06P802-15-2_Draft_Recommended_Practice.pdf] to Sponsor Ballot.

This Ballot opens today, Monday, October 14, 2002 at 1800 EDST and will 
close 15 days later on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at 2300 EST.

All necessary documents are available on the web site: 
http://ieee802.org/15/pub/LB21/LB46/LB46.html .  

This is a recirculation ballot so the rules are slightly different. Only those who were voters of record on Letter Ballot 34 can vote on this letter ballot.  A copy of the voting list for Letter Ballot 34 is on the first page of the IEEE802.11 WEB site in the Letter ballot area.
1. For those voters on the ballot pool list:
   a. If you already voted "Yes" on the subject or you changed your vote from "No" to "Yes" in writing:
       i. You do not need to vote again unless you want to.
       ii. You may submit a "No" vote, but only based on text
           that was changed after you voted "Yes" or text that
           was impacted by text that was changed after you
          voted "Yes" or based on comments on technical
          matters that were not resolved adequately.
   b. If you already voted "No", and your comments were not
resolved you are kindly requested to analyze the revised
draft
       i. Vote "Yes" if all your concerns are solved,
       ii. Otherwise, vote "No" again and REPEAT the
           comments that were not solved to your consent,
           indicating why the group's rebuttal is not acceptable
          to you. You may add additional comments
         constituting a "No" vote, but only based on text that
         was changed or text that was impacted by text that
         was changed.
   c. If you did not vote or you abstained, you may vote this
time with a valid vote or abstain again with a valid reason.


Please vote YES, NO, or ABSTAIN via return e-mail.

The subject field of the return email should read: 
LB46-{last name}-{first name}-{yes, no, abstain}

Example:  LB46-Kerry-Stuart-abstain

Please respond no later than: Tuesday, October 29, 2002,  2300 EDST.

We are using the web based balloting procedure and an automated comment tool. 
If your are voting yes with no comments you can simply return an email per the instructions below.


IMPORTANT--    There will be multiple ballots going on simultaneously.  If you 
are voting and do not complete the subject field in the prescribed format your ballot will 
be discarded and considered as a "no response" until correctly submitted.

If your response is not acknowledged within 2 business day please resend.

Remember, if you are voting yes, without comment, or are abstaining because 
of lack of expertise, you may do so by return email without using the 
balloting tools, if you so desire. Be sure to follow the correct subject 
field format or your ballot will be discarded.
