IEEE P802.11 - WORKING GROUP MEMBERSHIP LISTS

This page shows information for IEEE P802.11 Voting, Potential, Nearly and Aspirant members as of  2010-01-25.

Please verify your affiliation.

There is a specific requirement in the IEEE-SA policies and procedures that attendees at its meetings disclose
their affiliation.  Attendees failing properly to do so risk losing the privileges of membership (i.e., voting rights).

Interpretation of the "Expires" column

This column shows the meeting number (which is necessarily a Plenary meeting)
after which a voting member's voting status expires, if member does not attend any further qualifying meetings. 
For "potential voter" members, this shows the meeting after which their status reverts to "aspirant".
For "aspirant" members, this shows the meeting after which they lose "aspirant" status (and disappear from this listing).

NOTE--the "Expires" entry for some voting members is blank.   This signifies that the chair has granted them voting
membership without an attendance requirement.

How do I specify my affiliation?

Affiliation is recorded in the IEEE myProject system at the Sponsor level, the Working Group level, and the Project level.

The affiliation shown above is updated from the IEEE-SA registration data after each session you attend.

To enter affiliation initially:

• Log onto myProject
• Click on Manage Activity Profile
• Expand the list to the Sponsor, Working Group, or Project
• Check the box to enroll in that specific group
• Follow the instructions to add your affiliation

To modify your affiliation in a committee that you already enrolled in:

• Log onto myProject
• Click on My Info on the top right hand corner
• Click on Affiliation Information
   

If you change your affiliation using the myProject system please also send an email to the Working Group Vice Chair
responsible for keeping attendance records containing any changes (Adrian P Stephens at adrian.p.stephens@intel.com.). 

(Any changes may also often require the changing of emails in the 802.11 email reflectors, 
which can be done by the Working Group Vice Chair at the same time.)

How do I specify my employer?

There is no specific requirement in the IEEE-SA policies and procedures to disclose your employer.

Employer is asked for once in myProject.

To view or update your employer :

• Log onto myProject

• Click on My Info on the top right hand corner

• Here you can modify your employer
