Administrative Calendar

The administrative calendar shows the activities of 802.11 sub-groups between meetings.

You can access this in a number of formats:

Access using Microsoft Outlook

As of 2009-07-22,  I cannot provide access to the calendar data in a form that **Microsoft **Outlook 2003 can import.   The issue is that the .ics file created by Google Calendar uses features that are inconsistent with Outlook.  Firstly,  it refuses to import the file at all.  If you remove the "VERSION: 2.0" line from the .ics file,  it imports.  But not all events appear.  For example,  it appears to understand events with a periodicity of 2 weeks,  but not those with a periodicity of 3 weeks,  so 19th Aug ends up with 2 events,  not 4.

There is a Sync tool from Google that may or may not work.   To use this tool you need to know the full users credentials for the calendar,  which I'm not willing to divulge.

Having spent more time than I wanted to trying to find a workable route,  I have admitted defeat.  If anybody has a workable solution - please let me know.

I can confirm that **Mozilla **Sunbird V0.9 will correctly display the calendar when set up as a remote calendar using the following URL: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/802_11_calendar@ieee.org/public/basic.ics.   Alternatively you can create a local calendar in Sunbird and successfully import this .ics file.  You can then modify the entries,  e.g. to turn reminders on.
