[STDS-802-11-AANI] Last minute reminder of: 29 October AANI SC Teleconference @ 10am EDT ~ 30 minutes from now

Teleconference Invitation to the AANI SC Teleconference on:

Monday 29 October @ 10:00-11:00am EDT  (Invitation Attached)

                This teleconference will use a SKYPE for Business Bridge provided in the invitation (copied below).

This teleconference will not use the 802.11 join.me bridge

Please note that the ET zone will still be on Daylight Savings time (Summer Time),  so in areas where Summer Time has ended, this call will be an hour later than what would be the typical time difference.

An agenda will be provided prior to the teleconference.

It is anticipated that the main topic of this teleconference will be the “Summary of 802.11ax Self Evaluation for IMT-2020 EMBB Indoor Hotspot and Dense Urban Test Environments” document and the related draft LS to 3GPP. 


But, this meeting, as all AANI meetings are, is contribution driven.  Therefore please inform the Chair if you will have contributions for this meeting or the upcoming November 802.11 Plenary meeting in Bangkok, Thailand.

Topics for Contribution:

  1. Technical and discussion contributions on 802.11 technical performance relative to IMT-2020 requirements.
    1. Benchmarking of 802.11 performance.
    2. Analysis and simulation results of 802.11 performance relative to the IMT-2020 requirements.
    3. Discussion and planning contributions related to progressing this work.
  1. Technical and discussion contributions on interworking/integration of 802.11 with the 3GPP Next Generation System:
    1. Reviews or tutorials on current 3GPP SA solutions related to 3GPP 2G/3G/4G core network and 802.11
    2. Reviews, tutorials, or commentary on the completed 3GPP SA studies for 5G
    3. Reviews, Tutorials, or commentary on 3GPP SA WGs ongoing activities related to 5G for 3GPP
    4. Technical and discussion contributions on interworking/integration with 3GPP RAN NR.
    5. Lower priority as 3GPP RAN TSG is not currently working on interworking specifications.
  1. In support of 802.1 NENDICA
    1. proposals of industries to address
    2. contributions defining areas of 802.11 interest or discussion
