All, This is some background material for the discussion tomorrow. Historical documents:
https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/09/11-09-0427-01-0arc-arc-mib-recommendations.ppt is a presentation I did (with others) on a similar topic, quite a while ago (obviously). Based on that, the ARC SC at that time produced the recommendation in
https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/09/11-09-0533-01-0arc-recomendation-re-mib-types-and-usage.ppt. Those are very similar documents, and either/both would provide some helpful background on this. Here is a document with the request from the WG Chair, for our work effort:
