Hello,

Cisco Systems would like to invite IEEE 802.11 members to attend the November 2012 IEEE 802.11ac ad-hoc.

Registration

Any attendee that has not yet registered, please respond to the attendance poll (please do not respond to the poll if you are not attending)

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/poll-vote?p=6200008&t=6200008

Wi-Fi access will be on an individual username/password basis, so having an accurate list of email addresses a priori will considerably streamline network access.

Dates and Starting Time

·         November 8-9 (Thu-Fri)

·         Starting 9am

Location

·        707 Tasman Drive, Building 30 (SJC30), Milpitas, California 95035

·         http://maps.google.com/maps?q=707+Tasman+Drive&hl=en&ll=37.418197,-121.920991&spn=0.016599,0.030556&sll=37.297016,-121.817413&sspn=0.532023,0.977783&hnear=707+Tasman+Dr,+Milpitas,+Santa+Clara,+California+95035&t=m&z=15

·         This is the Campus map, wherein building 30 is on the right side of the map.

Lunch

·         Lunch at a Cisco cafetaria is available, typically for $5-9 per attendee (cash or credit).

Hotels

Nearby hotels and other travel information and Hotel reviews etc

(Crowne Plaza is the most central; then Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. To the list I’d add Hilton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas, Hampton Garden Inn San Jose/Milpitas, Park Hilton Santa Clara, and Beverley Heritage Hotel)

Transportation

The best ways to travel to the hotel and conference venue are a) fly to San Jose (SJC) then rent a car (or use taxis), b) fly to San Francisco (SFO) then rent a car (or share a taxi which will cost $110-$150 from SFO to Cisco).

Best regards

Reza and Brian
