Hi Minho,

Thanks for the suggestion. Grouping PHY into non-MAC ad hoc doesn’t seem to be the right thing to do. In fact 11ax MAC clause (Clause 27) includes topics that are considered by other ad hocs like SR and UL/DL  MU transmissions.

I think most of the non-PHY CR submissions will be related to the core MAC issues. Maybe I should have used PHY and MAC ad hocs, but I wanted to indicate that SR and MU submissions can also be discussed during the ad hoc meeting.

We can always adjust the agenda and the times based on progress.

Regards;

Osama.

Hi Osama,

As far as I know, number of MAC comments and resolution documents will be overwhelmingly large compared to other ad-hoc group ones.

Then, it would not be a bad idea to schedule in the way, MAC, non-MAC, instead.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

Minho

Hello All,

Below is a proposed high level agenda for the upcoming TGax ad hoc meeting in San Diego. Since there is no one big room to accommodate all the participants, the plan is to start ad hoc sub-groups right away.

The plan is to run a PHY and a Non-PHY sub-groups. I’ll leave the room assignment to Bin. Please let me know if you have any comments or questions.

This meeting is run like any ad hoc meeting during the IEEE 802.11 regular meeting. Straw polls are allowed. No motions during the meeting.

Wednesday, March 8:

-          PHY ad hoc                          10:00 – 12:00

-          Non-PHY ad hoc               10:00 - 12:00

-          Lunch                                    12:00 – 1:00

-          PHY ad hoc                          1:00 – 6:00 (including one break)

-          Non-PHY ad hoc               1:00 – 6:00 (include one break)

Thursday, March 9:

-          PHY ad hoc                          09:00 – 12:00 (we can start at 8:00 if there is no objection)

-          Non-PHY ad hoc               09:00-12:00 (we can start at 8:00 if there is no objection)

-          Lunch                                    12:00 – 1:00

-          PHY ad hoc                          1:00 – 6:00 (including one break)

-          Non-PHY ad hoc               1:00 – 6:00 (include one break)

Friday, March 10:

-          PHY ad hoc                          09:00 – 12:00 (we can start at 8:00 if there is no objection)

-          Non-PHY ad hoc               09:00-12:00 (we can start at 8:00 if there is no objection)

-          Lunch                                    12:00 – 1:00

-          PHY ad hoc                          1:00 – 4:00 (hard stop)
