Re: [STDS-802-11-TGAY] Reminder: August 16th call is confirmed

Hi:

Please be advised that 11ay usage R5 (11-15-0625-05) scenario doc is updated and uploaded onto mentor. The update is on slide 28 , in which the UC#11  (USR docking station) has mismatched metrics than slide 26, thus it’s being corrected.

Thanks for Rui ‘s(Interdigital) meticulous review and helpful comments!

Regards,

Rob

Hello Edward, All,

Please note that 17/1180r2 document has been uploaded to the mentor.

The changes in the document address the comments received during the TGay conference call on August 16.

The summary of discussion is provided below:

1.      Li Hsiang (InterDigital):

a.      Q: PHY-HEADEREDN.indication primitive, when it is issued in case of SU and MU PPDU?

b.      A: SU case – it is issued right after the EDMG-Header-A, MU – it is issued right after the EDMG-Header-B

c.      Comment: in the state machine, we need to add NBLKS counter similar to NCW

d.      Response: will be added

2.      Claudio da Silva (Intel):

a.      Comment: TRN field may be not present even if EDMG_TRN_LEN > 0, maybe we want to cover this case as well

b.      Response: will modify the description

3.      Yan Xin (Huawei):

a.      Comment: the padding with zero bits shall go first and then scrambling, p 5

b.      Response: will modify the description

c.      Q: when we do SC symbol blocks padding, do we apply the scrambling to the zero pad bits as well?

d.      A: yes we do

4.      Edward Au (Chair, Huawei):

a.      Comment: actually the same comment as from Li Hsiang on NBLKS counter

b.      Response: will be added

Thanks,

Artyom
