[STDS-802-11-TGAY] Mandatory draft review for 11ay - reviewers needed

Hi,

During the Editors' meeting on Tuesday morning, mandatory draft review
(MDR) of 11aY Draft 3.0 (if approved) will be started in February and
ended prior to the March plenary.

If you are willing to volunteer to do the MDR with us, please let
Peter, Robert, and me know as per your earliest convenience.

You would review the previous MDR reports of 11aj and 11ak to see how
the MDR works.

reviewers needed

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Editors' Reflector ---

Hi All,

We have four drafts totaling 6037 body pages to review

and ensure conformance to our 802.11 Style Guide

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/09/11-09-1034-12-0000-802-11-editorial-style-guide.docx

and the 2014 IEEE-SA Standards Style Manual

https://development.standards.ieee.org/myproject/Public/mytools/draft/styleman.pdf

We share the review among at least the amendment editor, Robert
Stacy or Peter Ecclesine, a MIB expert and a volunteer.

With REVmd on the table, we need more volunteers to divide the MDR
work on each of us.

The two most recent Mandatory Draft Review reports show the
findings and outcomes agreed by the participants

P802.11aj D3.0 – 802.11-16/1333r5 and P802.11ak D3.0 – 802.11-17/143r3

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/16/11-16-1333-07-0000-tgaj-mdr-report.docx

https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/17/11-17-0143-03-0000-p802-11ak-mdr-report.docx

At the Jan 15th Editors meeting, several volunteered to participate
in the MDR in addition to their normal lives, and more volunteers are
needed so we can progress all the reviewed drafts in March.

If you can make the time available and want to participate, please
respond to Robert or me.

Thanks in advance,

petere
