I would like to request to change motion on 18/1082r3 to below:

 

18/1082r4 - Spec Text Update for WUR Discovery

 

The only change form 18/1082r3 is that the recommended channel for WUR Discovery in the 2.4 GHz is changed from 6 to channel 1. The change was requested by Yongho who pointed out that in many parts of Asia the recommended non-overlapping channel in 2.4GHz is 5 and not 6. Channel 1 is universally accepted. Both Guoqing and myself are fine with the change. The affected text as below:

 

“The WUR discovery channel(s) that are used to transmit the WUR Discovery frames should be selected from channel 1 6 in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and channel 40, 44, 149 and 153 in the 5 GHz frequency band as specified in Table E-4 in Annex E.”
