[STDS-802-11-TGBD] Nomination for TGbd Vice Chair - 2nd attempt to send

I would like to nominate myself for the position of TGbd Vice Chair.
I have been an active 802.11 participant for many years (my first 802.11 meeting was September 2003). I am currently the Chair of the AANI SC and Vice Chair/Secretary for the ARC SC. So I have significant 802.11 and 802.11 leadership experience.
Also, I believe it is likely that TGbd will need to participate in multiple correspondence with various groups outside of 802.11 (e.g. WFA, IEEE 1609, ETSI ITS, Car2Car, SAE DSRC TC, etc.).
Therefore I believe that TGbd would benefit from having a Vice Chair with the responsibility to keep track of correspondence and the ability to provide general support of the Chair. I believe I am very well qualified to support TGbd in this roll.

I would like to nominate myself for the position of technical editor of TGbd. I am extremely familiar with both the content and editing process of the 802.11 standards, having been a participant in the P802.11 working group since 1992, and a major contributor to the original standard and amendments 802.11a through 802.11n, as well as all of the maintenance task groups. I was the state machine editor for the 1997 and 1999 editions of the original 802.11 standard, and technical editor for 802.11e. I have also served as editor of other interface standards at JEDEC and ANSI.
