[STDS-802-11] Outcome of IEEE 802 EC meeting related to 802.11

Dear 802.11 participants,

The EC approved the following in the 802 closing plenary:

• Send Light Communications PAR to NesCom
• Send P802.11aq D14.0 to RevCom
• Approve the P802.11aq waiver request for the unsatisfied RAC comments (https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/17/11-17-1704-11-00aq-waiver-request-regarding-ieee-rac-comments.ppt)
• Recharter the LC study group (this is a "fallback" if NesCom fails to approve the PAR)
• Form the Broadcast Services study group (BCS)
  
• Form the Next Generation V2X (NGV) study group

BCS met this week as a TIG.  It transitions to a SG immediately,  chaired by Marc Emmelmann, subject to confirmation by the WG in May.

The NGV chair is Bo Sun,  subject to confirmation by the WG in May.
