Following the FCC Open Commission Meeting earlier today (19 October 2023), the commissioners approved Very Low Power Device operations in 6 GHz band.

The final version of the Second Report and Order, Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, and a Memorandum Opinion and Order will be uploaded to the Federal Register in the near future.  

Comment submission date is 30 days after the Federal Register publication. Reply comment date is 60 days after the Federal Register publication.  Once it is available on the Federal Register, we will set the internal deadline for any proposed 802 LMSC response.
