--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Working Group Reflector ---
Dear 802.18 members,
cc. 802.11, 802.15, and 802.19 members,

For the UAE TDRA's consultation on UWN and short range devices in 2023 that IEEE 802 responded with a few comments on UWB, 802.11ax, and 802.11ah, the administration made its final decision and the updated technical conditions are posted:
https://tdra.gov.ae/-/media/About/regulations-and-ruling/AR/Res-35-of-2023--UWB-and-SDR-5.ashx

As referred to in the updated document, the administration addressed many of our comments, specially related to UWB.

Once again, thank you very much to many of you for volunteering your time and energy to this paper.

Regards,
Edward

UAE TDRA recently launched a consultation on an update of technical conditions about the usage of UWB and other non-specific short range devices.

For UWB, please refer to Questions 9 to 16.  For non-specific short range devices, e.g., 863 MHz, please refer to Questions 4 to 7.

The comment submission deadline is 7 July 2023.  If you would like the IEEE 802 LMSC to submit a response to the administration, please prepare a contribution and bring it to IEEE 802.18 for review and approval no later than 3pm ET, Thursday, 22 June 2023.

Regards,
Eward
