Details regarding the IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless
Access (July 6-8, 1999 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) are on the web

802.16 LEADERSHIP MEETING: MONDAY, JULY 5, 3-6 PM
We will discuss 802.16 organization and review plans for the week. All are
welcome; leaders and prospective leaders are encouraged to attend.
Attendance will not affect voting rights.

802 PLENARY MEETINGS: all registered attendees are invited

MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING
The Secretary will take attendance each morning and evening on July 6-8.
Those signed in for at least 5 of the 6 opportunities will become voting
members of 802.16. Voting issues, except procedurally-required motions such
as adoption of the agenda, will be deferred to the closing Plenary, after
voting membership is ascertained. Further details are on the web.

802 CD-ROM
Members of 802 Working Groups are entitled to receive a CD-ROM of all 802
standards for limited personal use. These discs will be distributed in
Montreal to the new voting members of 802.16. The procedure has not yet
been established.
