stds-802-16: 802 Executive Committee actions of 14 July 2000

On 14 July 2000, the IEEE 802 Executive Committee took the following 
actions directly related to IEEE 802.16:

(1) It approved the continuation of the WirelessHUMAN(TM) Study Group 
through the November 802 Plenary.

(2) It approved three 802.16 liaison letters to ETSI.

(3) It approved in principle a statement regarding an ISTO 
announcement entitled "Broadband Wireless Internet Access Gains High 
Speed Standard." I expect the statement to be released on Monday and 
will keep you informed.
