stds-802-16: Standards Board approves WirelessHUMAN PAR

I just got back from the IEEE-SA Standards Board meeting, where 
yesterday (Thursday) 802.16's WirelessHUMAN(TM) PAR was approved. The 
formal title is "P802.16.1b Telecommunications and Information 
Exchange Between
Systems - LAN/MAN Specific Requirements - Air Interface for Fixed Broadband
Wireless Access Systems including License-Exempt Frequencies."

Congratulations to the WirelessHUMAN(TM) team!

This activity, for a Wireless High-Speed Unlicensed Metropolitan Area 
Network Standard, will be handled by 802.16's Task Group 4
