First IEEE 802.16 IMT-Advanced Evaluation Group Coordination Meeting
As announced in Document 5D/542 ("Submission of a candidate IMT-Advanced RIT based on IEEE 802.16"), the IEEE 802.16 Working Group invited the Independent Evaluation Groups (IEGs) to the "IEEE 802.16 IMT-Advanced Evaluation Group Coordination Meeting" in order to aid them in evaluation of the proposal. This meeting was held on 13 January 2010 in San Diego, California, USA, in conjunction with IEEE 802.16 Session #65.
At the meeting, IEEE 802.16 members presented an overview of the proposal as well as an update regarding the current status of the 802.16m draft standard and were available to address comments and questions. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the independent evaluation groups to exchange views among each other and with members of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group.
