802.16 Session #8: 802 Tutorial on SDL

Abstract

Specification and Description Language (SDL) is a formal, object-oriented language defined by ITU-T as recommendation Z.100. The language is intended for specification of complex, event-driven, real-time, and interactive applications involving many concurrent activities which communicate using discrete signals. This tutorial focuses on the SDL Modeling for the BluetoothTM derived Draft Standard; and the general utility of SDL in the standards process.
