802.16 Session #13

Session #13 of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access took place on 14-18 May 2001 at the Radisson Hotel Orlando in Orlando, Florida, USA. IEEE 802's other Wireless Working Groups (802.11 and 802.15) held co-located meetings, as did the Resilient Packet Ring Working Group (802.17). Unlike other 802.16 interim sessions, this one was organized by the IEEE 802 organizers and meeting planners.

Hotel Reservations
The room rate of $129 (plus tax) for single occupancy or $139 (plus tax) for double occupancy is offered from 9-22 May subject to availability and provided that reservations are made by the hotel deadline of Monday 16 April 2001. {This deadline has been extended.}

Registration
Please use the on-line registration form. The preregistration fee is $250, due by Wednesday 2 May. Afterwards, the on-site registration fee of $300 applies. The fee includes breakfasts and lunches.

Air Travel
The hotel is 9 miles from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

The Mears Shuttle provides airport transportation service to and from the hotel. Reservations are not required, but you may contact Mears +1 407 423 5566 for information. The Mears Shuttle picks up just outside the Baggage Claim area. The rate is $14 per person ($26 round-trip).
