IEEE 802.16 Session #63

IEEE 802.16's Session #63 took place on 31 August - 3 September 2009 on Jeju Island, Korea. This was an Interim Session of the Working Group. The session was hosted by Hokyu Choi, with Samsung as Corporate Host. The venue was determined during Session #58 based on a proposal and presentation.

Outcomes

Meeting Schedule
The session began Monday morning and closed by 3 pm Thursday, in time for those wishing to catch nonstop flights to ICN (5:20pm), NRT (6:10pm) and KIX (6:50pm).

Transportation
Take a Limousine to Seoguipo (Bus number: 600) in front of Gate #1. Bus will depart from the airport every 16-18 minutes between 6:20am-22:00pm. It takes about 70-80 minutes to the Shilla Hotel. Please refer to this link for more detailed information.

Travel
The hotel is on Jeju Island (sometimes known as "Cheju"), 37 km from Jeju International Airport (code "CJU"). The airport offers a convenient guide to nonstop flights (though it is not entirely accurate, and it seems to exclude Incheon).

Visa Information
