802.16 Physical Layer Task Group

802.16 Working Group Session #5 will be held January 10-14, 2000 in Richardson, Texas, USA.

The 802.16.1 Physical Layer (PHY) Task Group of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access invites contributions addressing the following modeling issues:

• Channel model (including multipath model, channel dynamics, influence of antenna configuration and direction of arrival information)
• Phase Noise model
• Power Amplifier model (coupled with spectrum mask)
• Spectrum Efficieny calculation method (throughput coupled with deployment scenarios which follow co-existence guidelines and coupled with the antenna configuration at the subscriber and the base station)
• RF/IF filter model

Contributions must be submitted using Revision 6 or higher of the 802.16 Document Submission Template. Submissions will be considered non-confidential and will be posted, as soon as possible following receipt, for public access on the 802.16 Web Site.
