First, I would like to express my appreciation to
you for electing me to chair the, now formally approved, performance committee.
I'll do my best to live up or exceed your
expectations. I would also like to express my appreciation to Sanjay
Agrawal in expressing so much interest in the performance committee work and
nominating himself to chair it as well, and then for so graciously still
stepping up to help us with all his knowledge and expertise in the committee.
This forms the base of a good team to work together.
Several people asked me to post the charts showing
the charter of the performance committee on the reflector, since it may take a
few days to get it up on the web site.
I'm attaching the charts that I presented to the
802.17 WG which include the charter, as well as the motion to approve it.
These charts will be posted shortly on the 802.17
web site. We'll also have a pointer on the 802.17 web site to a section for the
performance committee material where presentations given to the committee and
other relevant information will be available.
Please let me know if you have any concerns or
suggestions.
