[RPRWG] De-Membership Rules explained
People,
a question came up concerning the loss of voting rights
due to attendance (or lack thereof) at meetings.
A 4 Plenary Sliding window protocol is used to if the person
has attended the required 2 meetings (1 plenary +
1 other meeting). The sampling point for membership is the
close of a plenary meeting.
So at the end of the March 2002 meeting I go through the
list of members and will remove anyone who attended
March 2001 and no other meeting.
In July 2002, the window will start from the July 2001
meeting. People who attended one of {07/01,11/01,03/02,07/02}
and one of {07/01,09/01,11/01,01/02,03/02,05/02,07/02} maintain
their voting rights.
