[RPRWG] Orlando Hotel Details - Yippeeeeee
RPRWGers,
Thank you for your patience regarding the selection of hotel,
I am pleased to announce we will be staying at the Caribe Royale.
The meeting is from Monday January 21, 2002 to
Thursday January 24, 2002. Meeting space is available
Sunday night if required by people (terms and defns?,
editors?).
I need everyone who will be attending read the following
information.
1) BOOK Your Room starting tomorrow (December 15) at the Caribe.
The room booking period is until December 24th, 2001.
2) We need to hit a minumum number of room nights at the hotel.
So for the good of the group, please stay at the Caribe.
If you are trying to save your company $$ be advised that
all suites have a front and back room so if that you can
have 2 people in the suite, each with their own bedroom.
It will likely cost your company less, and we at least get
credit for 1 room.
3) Book your flights: We begin meeting on moday morning at
8:30 am and will finish on thursday at 5pm. Please do
not fly out early on thursday.
4) The room rates are as follows:
Queen Double: $135 / night + taxes
Standard King: $145 / night + taxes
King Deluxe: $155 / night + taxes
Executive Suite:$260 / night + taxes
Villa (2 Bdrm): $260 / night + taxes
Please refer to IEEE 802.17 for the room rate.
Room rate includes American Breakfast so you won't come to
the meeting hungry.
5) The room block is good from Jan 28, 2002 to Jan 26, 2002
so you can stay and see some local attractions. And those
nights count to our room take rate.
6) People who stay at the hotel will received a reduced meeting
fee of $250. People who are not at the hotel will be charged
$300. All meeting fees are payable in cash or travellers cheques
at the meeting. The prices may be adjusted (down) at the meeting if
we exceed our expected attendance.
The meeting fee includes breaks, lunches and a wednesday night
reception.
7) We will have T1 (shared) connectivity from the meeting rooms.
As I get any more information I will send it out.
