RE: Conference Call Reminder: ad hoc group on evaluation -January 11, 2005 10am-12 noon EST

Reijo,

That sounds great!
Hopefully this is something which can be (needs to be) done mostly
independently and is not really tied to down selection and evaluation
criteria.

Best Regards

|Hello,
|
|Regarding the usage scenarios update, I've gathered information about
the
|standardization activities details in different SDO:s, related
|alliances/forums, interoperability/conformance related
|organizations/activities, and standards interpretation questions, to
list
|some examples. This is needed as background information for 802.21 to
|produce a well balanced standard, that provides enough flexibility for
the
|vendors to 'add value', and yet is strict enough to facilitate
|interoperability of the basic functionality - and then continue with
the
|usage scenarios to gain confidence on the proposed mechanisms.
|
|I will present the findings in the form of a submission in the interim,
it
|is quite a big area, and is probably better to discuss about on a
|face-to-face meeting.
|
|BR, Reijo
