Subj: A Few Rooms are available at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco but they
are going fast !!
The July 2005 IEEE 802 LMSC Plenary Session will be held during the week of
July 17-22, 2005. All IEEE 802 Working Group meetings for the week will be
held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco.
There are still a few rooms available at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco on
the Embarcadero. (If you have made your reservation or had your travel
agent make your reservation, make sure that it is for the EMBARCADERO Hyatt
- There are four Hyatt's in downtown San Francisco and many others in the
outlying cities). If you want to get into the IEEE 802 Room Block at
HR-SF, you will need to make your room reservations immediately (remember,
you can cancel until 6pm of arrival date without penalty if your plans
should change). But if you miss your chance to get a room at the Hyatt
Regency San Francisco, while there may be some other choices, they will NOT
be cheap or convenient. July is peak season in San Francisco, so take
advantage of the great IEEE 802 rate and reserve now!

The 802 Conference rate is $189.00 for single occupancy + taxes per night.
These rates are available from July 8 through July 30, 2005, subject to
room availability. Please make your room reservations directly on the web
with PASSKEY or by phone. When making reservations by phone, please be
sure to identify yourself as a member of the IEEE 802 Group to qualify for
our special group rates.
If you should miss getting a room at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco,
please call them directly and request to be put on the 802-Wait-List.
Since we do have many late cancellations, if you get on the Wait-List the
hotel will contact you when a room is available. It's also smart to check
with the hotel during the last week prior to the meeting for status of your
request.
Since the attendance at IEEE 802 Plenary Sessions continues to grow, we
have arranged for some additional overflow rooms. IEEE802 overflow rooms
are available via PassKey at each of the following:
a) Park Hyatt San Francisco
b) Hyatt Regency at Fisherman's Wharf
c) Crowne Plaza Hotel (at Union Square)
