The 802.18 WG has scheduled IMT-Advanced meetings for Tuesday and
Thursday evening during the coming September interim to review this

Dear SEC,
Attached is a liaison from ITU-R WP8F regarding minimum performance
requirements and evaluation guidelines for IMT-Advanced.
The requirements draft is the document that IEEE 802 previously
contributed to for WP8F's Kyoto meeting in May.
WP8F is requesting submissions in time for their planned January
meeting. It was agreed in 802.18's IMT-Advanced meeting to begin work on
a further requirements input to WP8F in September. It seems logical to
include any information that is deemed relevant on the radio interface
evaluation criteria as part of that effort.
Currently 802.18 has scheduled IMT-Advanced meetings for Tuesday and
Thursday evening during the September interim. Those meetings can be
used to review this liaison and develop a work plan. Based on the
request from WP8F we would need to complete this work at the November
plenary.
