Re: [802.21] IMS with 802.21 and MPA

Vivek, you are right, this paper does not talk about IMS, but more of general integration approach and lessons learned. These could be useful if one would like to try both 802.21 and MPA including IMS environment.

In addition to 802.21 and MPA, having personally worked with IMS testbed and experimented related work for last four years, I would suppose, deploying these combination in IMS environment could be considered as a specific case study.

Thanks
Ashutosh

Based on the title I really doubt if this paper has anything to do with IMS, which in itself is struggling for adoption.

Carlos, there is an upcoming paper in Tridentcom 2009, that you may find useful.

*"Realization of IEEE 802.21 Services and Preauthentication Framework"*

Thanks

Hi,

If you are talking about "IMS Network Enhanced with 802.21 Mobility Functionality", more specifically the document "Seamless Mobility for IMS using IEEE 802.21 and SIP", I already have that.

About 802.21 integration in IMS as application server, I don't have doubts. Now is about MPA integration...
