Congratulations on your chair appointment.  I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor.

 

Just a thought, and I apologize if I am out of touch, but should link quality information be needed, perhaps the 802.11k model would prove useful. Recognizing the enduring achievements of Mr. Paine, it may be more palatable to the EC than other approaches have been.

The IEE-SA has approved the 802.21c PAR.

I am pleased to appoint Junghoon Jee (ETRI) as the Chair of this new task group.

Anthony Chan (Huawei) has kindly agreed to assist Junghoon as Vice Chair for this group.

This group will start its activities from Jan-2010 (San Diego) meeting.

 

This is also a call for contribution for 802.21c for the Jan meeting.

If you are interested in presenting:

- Use cases

- Requirements

- Architectural and Design considerations

- Initial Proposals or anything else related to Single Radio Handovers

 

Please notify Junghoon Jee.

 

The intent for Jan meeting is to establish requirements and guidelines for a subsequent formal Call for Proposals.
