Hi all

Please pass along to your WGs/TAGs.  There is some ambiguity as to exactly where the first stop of the deluxe bus is. Best to assume one will get off at Government Center (2nd stop) to be on the safe side unless you are able to track your location on Google Maps and can see that you are indeed within walking distance of the hotels at the first stop

Regards

Bob

Hi all

Here are some helpful to share with your working groups.  The first is for booking train service.  The are 8 direct trains per day, running approximately every 2 hours, and many many more requiring a change at Seoul Station. The direct service is around 2 hours. This link for Korail lets you explore both.  When completing the form, keep all the defaults except choose "direct" if that is your preference and fill in your arrival date and time. It will display all the trains after that time.. From there you can do on to book a ticket.  The link is http://www.letskorail.com/ebizbf/EbizBfTicketSearch.do. The train station in Daejeon is 20 minutes by taxi to the Lotte City or ICC.  Taxis can be found at Exit 1.

An alternative is by bus. It will take about 3 hours by bus to make the journey. The first stop of the deluxe bus in Daejeon is the convention center and from there is it just a short walk to the Lotte City or ICC. Buses run every 20 minutes or so. This link gives you more detail: http://www.incheon.guide/search/label/Daejeon

Aside from adding a bit more time to the journey, it is really quite straight forward.  If there are any questions, I will do my best to answer them

See you all in Daejeon.

Bob
