vertitcal applications group under 802.24 will meet during the IEEE 802
November
Plenary session Wednesday, 5 November, 16:00-18:00.
In preparation for the November meeting a webex will be held
Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time.

(1)Work on completion of IoT task group scope document
IoT TG Scope (from review in July):
Forum to discuss substantive basis for applying 802
standards to evolving "IoT" application space and to gather together
like minded experts interested in exploring the topic. The task group is to
focus on the application of 802 standards to connecting
endpoints (sensors, actuators,
“things”) to the Internet "IoT".
