Dear Study Group Participants, As discussed at today’s meeting in order for the Study
Group to move forward, channel data for electrical backplane and twinaxial
copper cable assembly configurations are needed. As data is submitted, a
library on the SG webpage will be created. Today the group indicated the following preferences
for submitted data: ·
Data shall be in *.s4p format. ·
Minimum frequency is 50 MHz ·
Maximum frequency is 40 GHz. ·
Bundle files of through channel response with
associated crosstalk aggressors for a given case into a single zip file. ·
Input ports shall be Ports 1 and 3. Output
Ports are 2 and 4. [Port 1 goes to Port 2, Port 3 goes to Port 4] ·
Provide all details in file header. ·
Please note that header files should not include
any restrictive notice statements. There was some discussion regarding a recommendation on step
