The leadership team of the Next Generation 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s
Optical Ethernet Study Group (NGOPTX) have put together a
presentation to build consensus for a set of "5 Criteria
Responses" to be given at the upcoming May interim meeting in
Minneapolis.
I am attaching a draft of this presentation for your
consideration. Your review and comments to the team would be very
much appreciated. If you believe a comment deserves consideration
by the entire SG, feel free to respond to the reflector, but if
you believe that a comment can be addressed directly by the
authors, feel free to send your comments to the authors. If you
can review completely and provide your comments in a concise, yet
thorough manner, it will be appreciated.
Our goal is to get the word-smithing done prior to the meeting
such that an eventual motion to adopt the presentation as the
basis for our 5 criteria responses can be made and passed with
minimal debate. Your assistance in achieving that goal is
appreciated.
