Be sure to pick up your badges at the
Montbrillant entrance, available both Saturday and Sunday. Once
you have your badge can enter through the tower (e.g., after lunch
or on
subsequent days) or Varembe during the week.
ITU has these meetings now entered into their online meeting
calendar,
which will be displayed on the monitors for the days of each
meeting, but
can also be found on the web at: <link>
You can go to the drop-down menu for the date (European format, so
the day of the
month is at the beginning) and choose a day (e.g., 22 for
Saturday, 23 for
Sunday, etc.) and hit <Query> and see the room assignments
for that day.

of others who share common views on what to standardize
and how to achieve it. I recommend working together to
develop joint proposals and seeking out commonality.

The IEEE P802.3bm*
Task Force will be meeting for the first time at the
IEEE 802.3 September Interim Session in Geneva,
Switzerland. The IEEE P802.3bm* Task Force will be
meeting Wednesday, September 26th through Friday
September 28th, 5pm. There is no meeting fee,
however, meeting registration for access to the ITU
facilities is required.
A separate registration is required for the joint ITU-T/802.3 workshop and the 802.3 Interim. Please visit the interims page at http://ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html and follow the links to each registration page. There is no meeting fee for either meeting. Please register as soon as possible.
This means you will receive two badges, one for the joint workshop on Saturday, and one for the interim. If you will not be at the joint workshop, you (of course) do not need to register for it.

Participants
are responsible for selecting and booking their own
hotel.
Registration information, hotel listings, and meeting

The
agenda for the meeting will be to receive
presentations related to potential baseline proposals
addressing objectives identified by our Study Group.
Please
note;
Presentations
should be kept to a maximum of 20 minutes in duration,
excluding time for questions and answers. Requests
for presentation time greater than 20 minutes will be
considered on a case-by-case basis, and the requestor
should contact the chair prior to making the request
to justify the additional time.
Requests
for presentation time must be made two Fridays
preceding the meeting. For the September Interim
meeting, requests for presentation time shall be made
to me and must be made by September 14, 2012.
The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy version of
the presentation to me by Tuesday of the week
preceding the meeting. For the September Interim,
presentations must be submitted by September
18, 2012. Please copy Kapil Shrikhande
our vice-chair on all requests.
Please
note that I will be traveling internationally prior to
the submission date, so please allow additional time
if you need to discuss any issues with me prior to the
submittal dates.
As
a reminder, please make sure that all requests for
presentations or submissions of presentation material
have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the
email. All such emails will be refused and requests /
presentations will not be acknowledged.
All
individuals submitting presentations should review the
Procedures for Presenters Page - http://www.ieee802.org/3/100GNGOPTX/public/presentproc.html.
I
would greatly appreciate presenters reviewing their
own presentations to verify that they have followed
the cited Presentation Style Guidelines. Also, to
support the web site search tool used by the IEEE
P802.3 web site the 'Document Information' fields of
