The draft minutes from yesterday’s call and an updated presentation are on the SMF Ad Hoc web page.

 

After the presentation of cole_03_0413_smf, Chris requested a straw poll to try to gain a sense of the level of support within the SMF Ad Hoc for continuing to discuss the topic of “100GBASE-ER4-lite”within the Task Force.  The three choices and results were:

1.      Happy to take to the next step                 11

2.      Don’t care                                                          4

3.      Not in P802.3bm                                              3

 

As discussed, the next call of the  SMF Ad Hoc will be at 8:00 am Pacific on Tuesday 23 April (2 hour duration if sufficient presentations otherwise shorter and cancelled if there are no presentations requested).

Please send requests for presentations on any of the SMF proposals to me.

Note, there is one further SMF Ad Hoc opportunity on 30 April.
