Dear Task Force Participants,

The IEEE P802.3bm Task Force will be meeting at the upcoming IEEE 802.3 plenary meeting in Dallas, TX USA on Tuesday November 10th  through Thursday November 14th, 2013. Registration and meeting details may be found at http://802world.org/plenary/.  You are strongly encouraged to register and make your reservations as soon as possible.

As you are aware, we have completed our Draft 1.2 recirculation and will be advancing this draft to 802.3 for consideration of starting Working Group Ballot. Our time this week will be spent managing comments, and then preparing to explain any potential changes in the draft to 802.3 on Thursday when we bring the motion to advance to Working Group Ballot.

In addition, per motion #2 at our July plenary meeting, we will be advancing our modified objectives to 802.3 and our modified Five Criteria responses to the 802 EC for approval.

Please note if you are intending to give a presentation in support of a suggested remedy (or provide any supplemental material) for any comments, please indicate this in the “Suggested Remedy” field in your comment submission.  Please note that formal requests for presentation time must still be made to the Chair.  Presentations related to comment resolution should be kept to less than 20 minutes in duration, excluding time for questions and answers.  Requests for presentation time greater than 20 minutes will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the requester should contact the chair prior to making the request to justify the additional time.

Requests for presentation time must be made before the second Friday preceding the meeting.  For the
upcoming meeting, requests for presentation time shall be made to me at dan_dove@xxxxxxxx  and must be made by midnight AOE on November 1st, 2013
