thank you for your contribution. According to your calculation for OM3 fibers center launch with "only" two connectors and 300 meters length we easily exceeds PIE-D=5.5dBo with 5µm offset. FDDI fiber is even worst. We have much similar results. This confirms alignment, but set high warnings on recoverable signals even using center launch.
