[802.3ae] Cable pull-up



Hi all,

I have a question regarding a cable pull-up situation:
How should a XAUI core behave in a cable pull-up situation?
Will it generate Local Fault signaling?
Will it generate random noise?
Is this situation defined by the standard, at all?
