[802.3_1PPODL] Fwd: [802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3bu Power Over Data Lines (PoDL) initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Task Force Participants,

In case you missed it, P802.3bu D1.0 met all of the criteria for closing ballot successfully.

We have a large number of comments to resolve (317 + 72 resubmittals) so have a lot of work to do in Atlanta.

I would like to thank all of those who participated in the draft development, balloting, and comment generation for your time and effort.

Andy will be uploading the comments shortly. We will then prepare responses and update those per the usual process to allow time for the Task Force to digest the responses and develop a viewpoint on them. This will be done as soon as possible, however, please anticipate some time will be required to get them to the state necessary.

Best Regards,

Dan Dove
Acting Chair, IEEE P802.3bu PoDL Task Force
