This is a reminder that there is an ad hoc meeting scheduled for Wednesday this week. Note that this will be a joint ad hoc meeting along with 50G and NGOATH study groups.

 

If you would like to present in regard to P802.3by please send me an email indicating the presentation title, a brief description, and approximate presentation/discussion time before 5PM PT Monday. Also, please send a copy of the presentation to me by EOD Tuesday.

 

Note that I intend to set aside some time at the ad hoc for discussion of the 25GBASE-CR/KR Pmax to Vf ratio concerns raised by Mike Dudek.

This is an announcement of the next series of P802.3by 25 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force Architecture ad hoc conference calls.

“The charter of the 25 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force Architecture Ad Hoc is to discuss topics towards supporting the developed objectives, PAR and CSD or for preparing the Task Force with contributions to help it prepare for future decisions.”

 

This will be run as a joint ad hoc with the 50G and NGOATH study groups.

Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM PDT on: February 3, 10, 17, 24, and March 2, 9.

If you are interested in presenting, please request a timeslot by the end of Monday preceding each meeting indicating the presentation title and approximate presentation time.

Agenda will be provided prior to each meeting.

One minor clarification:  the ad hoc meeting will be a joint meeting with the 25G TF.  The first part of the agenda will focus on 25G topics and the second part will focus on 50G/NGOATH topics.
