[802.3_400G] Reminder When Requesting Presentations for May

All,

I have received several requests for presentations and have noted a trend that individuals are not providing all of the required information when making a request.

Please note per the call for presentations and the procedures for presenters (http://www.ieee802.org/3/400GSG/public/presentproc.html)

Requests shall be submitted by sending an email to the chair. The presenter shall provide the following information:

  • Name of presenter
  • Title of presentation
  • Length of time requested (this should include time for questions and answers)
  • Brief description of topic

Please note that while the topic of a presentation may be obvious to the requester, it is not always clear to others.  Therefore, I do request that people take a moment to write a brief description of the presentation that they intend to give.

Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
