As previously announced, there is an MMF Ad Hoc meeting starting at 8:00 am Pacific on Friday 20 June.
I have not received any requests for presentations, however I would like to present an overview of what the MMF ad hoc’s role is, and follow on with an initial study of some of the options for 400Gb/s MMF PMDs.
The provisional agenda is:

Dear all
The first IEEE P802.3bs 400 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force MMF Ad Hoc conference call will take place on Friday June 20th from 8am-9.30am PDT.
The charter of the MMF Ad Hoc will be to initiate an assessment of proposals targeting the MMF 100m objective. The MMF Ad Hoc shall also provide feedback to the Task Force on how MMF proposals may impact other aspects of the 400GbE project, such as architecture, electrical interfaces, FEC, OTN compatibility, or EEE.
If you are interested in presenting, please request a timeslot by the end of Tuesday June 17th. If there are no requests for presentations, the call may be cancelled.
