Re: [STDS-802-3-400G] IEEE P802.3bs MMF ad hoc, 18th Dec 2015, 8.30am to 10.30am Pacific - Agenda

Jonathan,

Thanks for your contribution.  At its end you ask if there are any other items needing attention.  The answer is yes.

While I have not prepared a contribution, I would like the opportunity during today’s teleconference to speak to the content of clause 121.11.3.2 regarding the MDI connector.  The present text contains several TBDs awaiting confirmation or adjustment pending the development of a connector standard for the MPO-16.  I am pleased to report that a standard has been published which can now be used to address these TBDs.  There’s more to report during the teleconference, if I might be granted a bit of time on the agenda.

Regards,

Paul

Also attached is the presentation we’ll go through tomorrow - the aim is to remind everyone of where we have got to so far, and review what (if anything ) we need to do to complete the 400Gb/s multimode clause.

Best wishes
