[STDS-802-3-400G] 802.3bs Task Force Ad hoc Call - April 7, 8am - 10am (PDT)

Dear Task Force Participants,

This email is to notify all that there will be a Task Force ad hoc teleconference on Thursday, April 7, from 8am to 10am PDT.  Teleconference / webex information will be forwarded prior to the call.

The agenda for the call will be to discuss the anticipated inclusion of 200GbE (pending final approval by the IEEE-SA Std Board in May) into the 802.3bs specification.  I have asked Pete Anslow, our chief editor, to prepare a list of all the baseline documents that we need for the May meeting.

If any individuals would like to give a presentation in respect to the 200GbE objectives adopted for the 802.3bs project (see http://www.ieee802.org/3/bs/public/16_03/NGOATH_3bs_Objectives_16_0316.pdf),  please send me a request with the following information:

    • Name of presenter
    • Affiliation
    • Title of presentation
    • Length of time requested (this should include time for questions and answers)

o   Brief description of topic

Please make this request by Wed April 6, noon PDT.

As a reminder, we are targeting being technically complete in regards to 400GbE coming out of the May meeting.  I will be contacting individuals to solicit presentations on TDP and Stressed Rx Testing, which have been noted as two key areas.

Regards,

John D’Ambrosia

Chair, IEEE P802.3bs 400GbE Task Force
