[STDS-802-3-400G] IEEE P802.3bs Initial IEEE 802.3 WG Ballot Results

Dear Task Force Participants,

 

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 27th August 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September 2016 IEEE P802.3bs Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 567 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bs Task Force reflector.

  20 Disapprove with comment

   1 Disapprove without comment

  16 Abstain

138 Ballots returned

 

65.09% Response Rate (> 50% required)

11.59% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)

83.47% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
