Here is the link for the presentation by Don Parnell and I from Ottawa.

Signaled Minimum Fragment Size for IET

IEEE 802.3br/802.1 TSN Joint session

Sept 2014 – Ottawa, ON

http://www.ieee802.org/1/files/public/docs2014/3br-pannell-jones-initial-preempt-point-0914-v2.pdf

Do we want to put in a pointer in the draft or in the IET public area (link http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/br/public/2014-09%20Ottawa%20ON/) to this presentation?

This shows up in the minutes we approved

Presentation: #6 Signaled Minimum Fragment Size for IET (Don, Peter)

Don and Peter presented the slides.

The group agreed to add the requested feature to 802.3br (During negotiation phase the

receiver can ask the transmitter to increase the frame size).

Pat will add the feature to the next draft of 802.3br.

Regards

Peter
